it goes without saying that the venue and location is just fabulous. a glass elevater shoots you up to the 38th floor of the heron tower where you overlook all london.
a magnificent bamboo-lattice cieling with hundrets light bulbs hanging down impresses during the day but must be awesome in the evening. we went for lunch but love to hear your experience at night.
getting started with a cocktail or a seasonal sake, wagyu gyoza and kobe sliders followed by a tasty plum wine and the black cod – wow! still hungry we decided to order more: the tokyo sky tree sushi rolls and the samba salad – which both were great choices. but the best yet to come; the chocolate banana cake – to die for! dishes are small and seem pricy but the final bill will make you go „oh – that’s reasonable“.
reserve your table FAR in advance or go late night (open sun-wed until 1am, thu until 2am and fri-sat until 3am) and let the sushi samba.
